Rhinoplasty and profile-enhancing operations on the facial bones

Profile enhancements on the face are usually performed in a combination of a nose and chin or lower jaw line correction. Sometimes we also carry out an additional cheekbone correction if no correction of the teeth is to be carried out at the same time. The procedures to improve the profile follow a multi-stage structured therapy plan, which we discuss in detail with you, and these procedures are carried out on an inpatient or day-patient basis and under general anaesthesia.

Your profile adjustment or nose correction (rhinoplasty) is simulated on the basis of models and precision-planned (computer-assisted).In addition to the personal consultation, our maxillofacial Clinic and Ambulantory Surgery Center in Offenbach offers you an online 3D simulation, which gives you a direct impression of the possible results of your nose correction.

In the case of more complicated profile changes, especially malpositions, early bone lengthening or widening may be necessary, i.e. also distraction, SARME or “surgical GNE”.
